Physical change: (i) it is a reversible change.(ii) Example... melting of ice etc...
Chemical change: (i) it is a irreversible change. (ii) Examples... cooking food, (ii) bursting crackers etc...

Physical Change

In a physical change the appearance or form of the matter changes but the kind of matter in the substance does not. Example- Changing of water into ice.

Chemical Change

In a chemical change, the kind of matter changes and at least one new substance with new properties is formed. Example- Burning of paper.
