The leaves to the left are net veined. Veins branch from a main vein (midrib) and divide into finer and finer veins. In palmate venation the veins radiate like a fan from the petiole.

pinnate leaf:
1.veins,leaflets,lobes are all attached to central axis.
eg: oak leaves
2.pinnate veining has veins shooting outwards from each side of mid rib.
palmate leaf
1.veins,lobes,leaflets all radiate from single point. eg: maple leaf.
2.veins of palmate leaves shoot from one point-as opposed to a line.
