difference between Plant cell and Animal cell​

The Plant Cells are usually larger, which has fixed and rectangular shape, while animal cells are comparatively smaller in size, irregular and round. The nucleus is present in both thecells, but in Plant cell it lies on one side while it is present in the center of the Animal cell

Some Differences between Plant cell and Animal cell are as follows :

i) Plant cell has a distinct character of having cell wall composed of a polymer called cellulose but animals do not possess any type of Cell wall.

ii) Plants have a cell organelle called Plastids which are absent in animals. Plastids contains the pigment chlorophyll which helps the plant in manufacturing food.

iii) Animals have centrioles which help them during division of cell but plants lack centrioles.
