plasmolysis is a phenomenon of shrinkage of protoplast of a plant cell from its cell wall due to exosmosis of water when the cell is placed in a hypertonic solution.it is of 3 kinds I .e. limiting, incipient, evident stage and if we talk about deplasmolysis i .e. when incipient plasmolyzed cell is transferred to a hypertonic solution the cell regains it's original shape this is called deplasmolysis.
