Difference between pleural effusion and pulmonary edema

pulmonary edema is accumulation of fluid in lungs which collects in air sacs making difficult to breathe but in pleural effusion fluid is accumulated around the lungs,in pleural membrane and the excess fluid impair breathing by limiting the expansion of lungs.                                                                                                                 hope it will help you:)
