Pollen Tubes :-

  • Pollen tubes are structures that are formed after a pollen grain lands on the stigma of a female flower. Hence, they don't exist at all times.
  • Through the pollen tube, the male gametes reach the ovary where the egg exists. Hence it can be said that the pollen tubes that get formed, serve as a passage or path for the male gametes to the egg.

Fallopian Tube :-

  • The fallopian tubes are a part of the female reproductive system in human beings.
  • The fallopian tube serve as a pathway between the ovary and the uterus.
  • The fallopian tubes also serve as the site for fertilisation (fusion of male and female gamete)
