examples: sycon(scypha), spongilla(fresh water sponge) and euspongia( bath sponge)
cnideria:
marine, free swimming, have cnidoblast cells , have regeneration capacity, have 2 stages polyp and medusa
examples: physalia, adamsia , aurelia, meandrina
