Difference between powers of a governor and lieutenant governor

Governor and Lieutenant Governor. Governor is the head of the state, appointed by the President. After the 7th Constitutional Amendment, 1956 a Governor can be appointed for more than one state. Lieutenant-Governor is the head of a Union Territory
