Difference between
Pressure by a book kept on a table and water taken in a vessel


Anyone please answer it's very urgent ​

If the book is kept on the table there will be a certain amount of pressure applied by the book on the table. Whereas, if some water is kept on a vessel then the vessel will apply fluid pressure on the container.

The pressure at the base of each vessel is given by ρgh where ρ is a density of water, g is acceleration due to gravity, and h is the height of water column in that vessel.

So pressure at a base is directly proportional to the height of water level.

So decreasing order of pressure is D>B>A>C
