Probiotic bacteria are gut friendly bacteria which are consumed to improve or restore the gut flora. Our gut flora naturally probiotic bacteria to keep our tummy happy and healthy.

Lactobacillus is an example of probiotic bacteria.

On the other hand, pathogenic bacteria are harmful bacteria which cause infections in body.  

Tuberculosis is an example of pathogenic bacteria.
