PROBIOTIC BACTERIA = They are the bacteria that are helpful/beneficial for other organisms .They do not cause any illness . ex - Lactobacillus
PATHOGENIC BACTERIA =They are the bacteria that are harmful for living organisms and cause diseases in their host organisms .ex- streptococcus pneumoniae

Probiotic Bacteria:
- This bacteria tend to be more helpful to the organisms in which they reside.
- They are not harmful and provides support to the organisms.
- It provides substances that help in enriching the physiological life cycle which even hinders the growth of bad bacteria, viruses inside the organism which they live in.
Pathogenic Bacteria:
- In contrast to the probiotic ones, these cause harm to the organism in which they reside.
- They are more harmful and it even causes misfunctioning or damage to the organs of their host.
