Prokaryotes don't have true nucleus but eukaryotes have it.
PROKARYOTES EUKARYOTES
They contain single circular chromosome. They contain multiple linear chromosomes.
They are haploid. They are diploid.
Both transcription and translation occur in Transcription in nucleus
cytoplasm. and translation in cytoplasm.
Prokaryotic genomes are efficient and compact, Eukaryotes contain
large amount of
containing little repetitive DNA. noncoding and repetitive DNA.
