Prokaryotes

1) They are primitive organisms.

2) There size is generally 10^-6.

3) Nuclear region is not well defined and not surrounded by the nuclear membranes.

4)Chromosomes are single.

5)Membarane bound organelles are absent.

Eukaryotes

1) Not primitive organisms.

2) Size is generally large.

3)Nuclear region is well developed and nuclear membarane is there.

4) Multiple chromosomes.

5)Membarane bound organelles are present.
