Eukaryotic cells contain membrane-bound organelles, including a nucleus. Eukaryotes can be single-celled or multi-celled, such as you, me, plants, fungi, and insects. Bacteria are an example of prokaryotes. Prokaryotic cells do not contain a nucleus or any other membrane-bound organelle.

  • Prokaryotic organisms - organisms whose cell’s nucleus is not well developed, have no nuclear membrane & lack many of the cell organelles are called prokaryotic organisms.
  • They are usually unicellular organisms

  • Eukaryotic organisms - organisms whose nucleus is well developed , have nuclear membrane & all types of cell organelles are called eukaryotic organisms.
  • They are usually found in multicellular organisms.

Hope it helps...
