PROKARYOTIC CELLS :
- These type of organisms doesn't have a well defined Nucleus.
- chromosomal number is 1.
- Membrane bound Organelles are absent in this type of organisms. ( only ribosomes are found ).
- These are generally small in size.
For example, bacteria and cyanobacteria.
EUKARYOTIC CELLS :
- These type of organisms having a clear and distinct Nucleus.
- chromosomal number is more than 1.
- Membrane bound Organelles are present ( including all the organelles such as mitochondria, golgi apparatus ).
- These are generally large in size.
For example, Plant cell, animal cell.
