5) Examples - Bacteria, blue green algae

Eukaryotic cells :

1)they are larger in size.

PROKARYOTIC CELLS :

  • These type of organisms doesn't have a well defined Nucleus.
  • chromosomal number is 1.
  • Membrane bound Organelles are absent in this type of organisms. ( only ribosomes are found ).
  • These are generally small in size.

For example, bacteria and cyanobacteria.

EUKARYOTIC CELLS :

  • These type of organisms having a clear and distinct Nucleus.
  • chromosomal number is more than 1.
  • Membrane bound Organelles are present ( including all the organelles such as mitochondria, golgi apparatus ).
  • These are generally large in size.

For example, Plant cell, animal cell.
