Generally, provisional certificate is valid up to 6 months only. So most of the people won't accept this after 6 months. However you can get jobs with this certificate. ... Many of the time, Provisional degree certificate is enough for the joining , but you need to submit Original degree in specific timeline.

In Indian context, Degree means any under graduate course or bachelors course. The certificate given on the completion of such a course is referred as degree certificate. Provisional certificate has nothing to do with degree certificate because any course can have a provisional certificate.
