Pull ups are done against the gravity usually with the help of a rod or branch tree in which we use our muscles of our arms and shoulders to pull our body upwards.
This is used to make the chest wider and broadening of Shoulders.
Pushups is done by lying straight on the ground and lifting your body up with the help of the muscles of arms again.
This helps in the development of core and broadening of chest.
Also helps in Abs formation and makes the bone and muscles stronger.
Pull-ups might help in increasing the height but pushups slow down the growth rate.
There are variation in push-ups and pull ups
Like inclined push ups, Spiderman pushups etc which target different muscles so muscles growth is not same in all the exercises.
