Radicals were the leaders of Congress who believed that violence is needed for the freedom of the country. E.g. Subhash Bose, Jawaharlal Nehru.
Moderates were the leaders of Congress who believed that non violence can give them freedom. E.g. Mahatma Gandhi, Motilal Nehru.

Moderator : It is an arbitrator or mediator.
