RAM stands for Random Access Memory. In this type of memory we can save data. It is volatile. It requires a constant source of power to retain information.
ROM stands for Read Only Memory It do not require constant source of power to save information i.e. when electricity has gone ROM chip will keep the information stored in it as it is non volatile
