➡Reflection :-

1. The process of bouncing back of light when it fall on plain surface.

2. Angle of incident is equal to angle of reflection
i.e. \: \: \: \angle \: i = \angle \: r

3. Incident ray, reflecting ray and normal ray lie on the same plane

➡Refraction of light :-

1. The bending of light rays when it passes from one medium to another medium

2. The ratio of the sine of the incident angle to the sine of refracted angle is equal to the constant.
i.e. \: \: \frac{sin \: i}{sin \: r} = constant

3.Incident ray, reflecting ray and normal ray lie on the same plane.

In reflection, light ray falling on the plane returns to the same medium. Conversely, in refraction, the ray falling on the plane travels from one medium to another. In reflection, the waves bounce off the surface.
