difference between regeneration and fission​

Regeneration is the process of regrowth that organisms that allows for partial or complete regrowth of tissue after a damaging event. The difference is that fragmentation specifies two parts each growing into complete organisms, but regeneration is simply a general process of regrowth.

Regeneration is a process in which if a part of body separates from organism then it further lives as a new organism

e.g planeria,lizard

fission means breaking or division of body into two or many parts.It may occur in 2types called as binary means into two parts and multiple means more than two e.g amoeba and yeast respectively
