Differences between the regular stock exchange and OTECI:
The abbreviation of OTECI is over the counter exchange of India.
Here are a few differences between regular stock exchange and OTCEI:
- In a normal stock exchange, the trading is done in the normal procedure, but in the OTCEI the trading is done through a framework of computer systems that get the job done.
- In the case of minimum paid capital the regular stock exchange accepts up to Rs. 5 Crores where as the OTCEI has a limitation only up to 2 Crores
- The membership in a stock exchange is restricted to a particular region or area but unlike the regular stock exchange the OTCEI is spread all across the country
- In regular stock exchange the securities are permitted to that particular region only but in OTCEI the securities are traded all across India.
