Religion is the way of living, and culture is the social behavior that comes with that way of living. the difference between above two is a silver lining, which is hard to differentiate.
The main difference between culture and religion is that culture is based on the shared values of human being, its tend to be manmade while religion is wholly associated with the God, The Creator and most of the religion in the world claims their religion come from God side.

Religion is the holy texts and scriptures and the practices mandated, mentioned in them.
Culture is the normally accepted values, social behavior, customs and traditions that are passed down from generation to generation and have no textual references in holy scriptures.
Religion and culture can often overlap making the followers confused between the two.
For example, in Islam
Sectarianism is prohibited by the Qur’an.
But Indian Muslims believe in qawms (castes) and even have lower castes.
