Renewable sources of energy are regenerated or they are not exhaustible over a long duration like solar energy, wind energy, ocean wave energy.
Conventional sources like fossil fuels like oil, gas, petrol, coal etc. are produced naturally on Earth and are available in exhaustible quantities if consumed quickly. They are not regenerated as quickly as we are consuming them.
