difference between renewable and non renewable

Renewable - something which can be renewed in a short duration of time is called renewable.

Non-renewable - something which cannot be renewed in it's initial form is called non-renewable.

RENEWABLE RESOURCES

  • Renewable resources are those  which get renewed or replenished quickly.
  • Ex - solar energy, wind energy, hydro power, geothermal energy, and biomass energy etc.

NON-RENEWABLE RESOURCES

  • Non renewable resources are those resources which have limited stock.
  • Ex - coal,petroleum,natural gas and other fossil fuels.
