Difference between repetition and reiteration method in surveying  is as follows:

  • If many times, something is repeated, is called repetition. In surveying, to measure the horizontal angles accurately and improve precision, repetition method is used.
  • For emphasizing something when the verb reiterate is usually used. This measures each horizontal angle in succession. Then the sight's line is brought back. Through 360 degree the instrument is turned.
