Difference between RER and SER

1)RER have ribosomes while SER doesn't have
ribosomes...
2) RER are manufacture sites for protein while SER are for lipids and fats...
3) RER stands for Rough endoplasmic reticulum while SER stands for smooth endoplasmic reticulum..

SER =smooth endoplasmic reticulum
1 they are present at a higher distance as compared to RER
RER =rough endoplasmic reticulum.
they present near the nuclear membrane
On smooth endoplasmic reticulum ribosomes are absent so they known as SER .
On RER ribosomes are present so they are known RER ..
