RER stands for rough endoplasmic reticulum.
It contains ribosome so it's surface is rough.
SER stands for smooth endoplasmic reticulum .
It do not contain ribosome so it surface is smooth.
These both work as a transportation channel in a cell.

Answer:RER contains rybosomes and they r seem to be rough whereas SER is smooth as it does not contain rybosomes
