difference between resistance in series and resistance in parallel​

Value of equivalent resistance in series is high.

and accourding to Ohm's law ....
V=IR

I is inversely proportional to R
if, resistance is more less current will flow through circuit.

But in parallel combination. .value of equivalent resistance is low , so high current will flow through circuit.

Series means the components are connected in a string, end to end, with the final connection points at each end of the string.

Parallel means that each end of each component is connected to corresponding points on each other element. Final connection is from the same two terminals.
