Breathing is the physical process where you inhale and exhale air in and out of your lungs. ... Respiration is a chemical reaction where Oxygen is used to breakdown Glucose in order to generate energy which is then used by the cell to function.

We can define respiration as a vital process, which involves the inhalation of oxygen-rich air to oxidise food to release energy in the body cells and the exhalation of air rich in carbon dioxide and other waste products like water {in the form of vapour}.

Breathing is a process of taking in the oxygen-rich air and giving out carbon dioxide-rich air which is termed as breathing .

Respiration is a chemical change.

Breathing is a physical change.
