Heya!!

The difference between Respiration and Combustion is that Respiration is a process the exchange of gases takes place that is between oxygen and carbon dioxide. The oxygen is taken in and carbon dioxide is taken out or exhaled. Combustion means the burning of any substance in the presence of oxygen. It is the burning of carbon compounds which are called fossil fuels.
