Difference between respiration in animals and photosynthesis in plants?

Respiration is the process by which chemical energy stored in the food is released in the form of ATP along with carbon dioxide and water. ... In plants, carbon dioxide and oxygen are exchanged through the stomata by diffusion. Respiration in plants is just opposite to that of photosynthesis.

the difference is that during respiration in animals the oxygen is taken in and carbon dioxide is given out. Whereas in photosynthesis the visa Versa happens.animals during respiration take in air through nose whereas the plants take in CO2 through tiny structures called stomata.
