difference between retina and choroid of eye(At least 4 differences)

Retina
1. It is the thin layer of cells at the back of the eyeball.
2. In retina, light is converted into neural signals and is sent to the brain. 
3. It is a circular disc.
4. It is the third and inner coat of the eye.

Choroid
1.Choroid is know as choroidea or choroid coat.
2. Choroid is the vascular layer of the eye.
3. It is lying between the retina and sclera.
4. It provides oxygen and nourishment to the outer layers of retina.

Choroid

It is middle layer of eye.

It does not contain photosensitive cells.

It is vascular layer.

No image is formed on choroid.

Retina

It is inner layer of eye

It contain photo sensitive cells namely rods and cones

It is nervous layer

Inverted image is formed on retina
