Required Differentiation:
- Any change that is reversible or temporary is called a reversible change. Reversible reactions are called reversible reactions. In this reaction, one substance is converted into another substance but no new compound is formed.
- Reversible changes in processes such as thawing, boiling, evaporation, freezing, extraction, thawing. Some examples are wax melting, ice freezing, and hot water evaporating back into the water.
- Unlike reversible changes, irreversible changes are permanent changes. Reactors form a completely new compound and are not reversible. Heating, combustion, mixing, and powdering can cause irreversible changes.
- Cooking raw eggs is a common observable example, they cannot be converted to their original form. Another example is ash obtained by the combustion of paper or other materials.
