A Parallelogram is a quadrilateral or 4 sided figure in which were the opposite sides are opposite to each other, because of the lines are parallel hence the lines are equal too.

a parallelogarm is a quadrilateral in which the opposite sides are parallel and equal.
whereas  rhombus is an equilateral parallelogram with all sides are equal.

in a rhombus the diagonals intersect each other at right angles, whereas in a parallelogram the diagonals may  be equal to 90 degrees but in a rhombus they are never equal to 90 degrees.
