to add in simple terms ; risk is preconceived especially in case control or even in cohort studies and what we do is reaccertain the association using RR; predictors terminology becomes more relevant in a descriptive or longitudinal study wherein several factors are assessed, confounding is adjusted and maybe population specific predictors identified. However i agree that somewhere the causality assessment makes these terms to be used interchangeably and perhalps depending on the study design and objectives.

Answer:

Given below is the answer

Explanation:

In addition, risk is assumed, which is particularly accurate in case-control or cohort studies, and we reacquaint the association by using the risk ratio (RR); the terminology of predictors becomes more pertinent in a descriptive or longitudinal study in which several factors are evaluated, confounding is adjusted, and possibly population-specific predictors are identified. However, I do agree that these two words might, at times, be used interchangeably due to the causality assessment, which is based on the design of the study as well as the purposes of the research. I believe this is due to the fact that these two phrases are both based on the goals of the research. In other words, I believe that the meaning of these two phrases is synonymous with one another.
