rna is composed of ribose sugar whereas dna is composed of deoxyribose sugar. structure of dna is more stable because of hudrogen bonding and presence of thymine in place of uracil.

DNA :--- 1. it is chain of phosphate + base + deoxyribose sugar . 2. it have double standar . 3. it contain Adenine , Guanine , Cytosine & THYMINE . 4. DNA is stable under alkali conditions. 5. DNA can synthesis RNA by transcription. 6. It replicate & store genetic information. 7. It is much longer then RNA. 8. It contains one less hydroxyl group. 9. DNA can be damage very easily by UV rays.
RNA :--- 1. It is chain of phosphate + base + ribose sugar. 2. It have single standar. 3. it contains Adenine , Guanine , Cytosine & URACIL. 4. it is unstable under alkali conditions. 5. RNA can synthesis DNA only by reverse transcription. 6. it use genetic information of DNA to synthesis protein. 7. it much smaller then DNA. 8. It contains one more hydroxyl group. 9. it has resistance for UV rays....
DNA is more resilient & more easily repaired then RNA , it is more stable , it is double standar so , it can't be easily destroyed by enzyme , RNA have exposed -OH group which make it highly reactive , which is not present in DNA , hence , it is best storage of genetic information.
