Difference between rotation and spinning??​

Rotation:-

A rotation is a circular movement of an object around a path which is through centre of rotation.

Ex:- Rotation of earth around sun, etc...

Spinning:-

Spinning means to rotate with respect to a point.

Ex:- Spinning of stone tied through thread which is hold with respect to hand,etc...
