SALMONS are fishes that are mainly found in ATLANTIC.

  • they are MARINE and FRESHWATER fish
  • they have small head, blunt nose and small eyes
  • they possess HUMPS, which helps them to attract mates
  • they are PINK in color
  • usually females are larger than males
  • they have a small fin on their back called ADIPOSE FIN

they are anadromous, i.e. born in freshwater then migrate to the ocean and finally return to freshwater to reproduce.

WHALES are mammals.

  • they are extremely large MARINE mammal
  • they have long, TORPEDO-shaped body
  • they have BLUE-GREY colored skin
  • BLUE WHALE is the largest animal
