Difference between sandmayer reaction and gattermans reaction

Diazonium salts when react with cu powder in p/o HCL or HBr. Differenceis only between their reactants. InSandmeyer's reaction reactants are cuprous halide and halogen acid (i.e. Cucl/HCl or CuBr/HBr) whereas inGattermann reaction reactant is mixtures of copper salt and halogen acid
