Sandy soil-it has a gritty texture and is formed from weathered rocks such as limestone,quarter , granite,shale.

Clayey soil - it is composed of very fine particles with few air space in between them. therefore clayey soil is wet,it get very sticky and when it dries it forms rock hard lumps
