Schizoid Personality Disorder is characterized by an atypically low need for interaction with others. It is somewhat similar to being an introvert, but more extreme.

Schizotypal Personality Disorder involves more quirky and eccentric thought, feelings,  and behaviors,  which, as is pointed in another answer, can lead to awkward social behavior, but is not necessarily caused by a lower than typical need or desire for social interaction.

Schizotypal Personality Disorder is less similar to Schizoid Personality Disorder than is Avoidant Personality Disorder. On the surface, Avoidant and Schizoid Personality Disorders apoear similar in that both tend to be characterized by a lower than average amount of social interaction. However, the underlying reasons for this are quite different. A schizoid person is content with little social interaction. They don't tend to see it as a problem unless someone else has a problem with their lack of social contact. Avoidant people, on the other hand, want more interaction, and are often quite lonely. They avoid contact because of fear/anxiety related to socializing, not because they prefer to be alone.

Schizoid personality disorder is an uncommon condition in which people avoid social activities and consistently shy away from interaction with others. They also have a limited range of emotional expression.

These people may lack the desire to socially interact with those around them. They may seem emotionally cold and as if they do not care about others, humourless and indifferent. They may appear to lack motivation and goals, and usually won't react to praise or critical remarks from others.

People with schizotypal personality disorder, however, are in touch with reality. They are often described as odd or eccentric and usually have few, if any, close relationships. They generally don't understand how relationships form or the impact of their behaviour on others. They may also misinterpret others' motivations and behaviours and develop significant distrust of others.

These problems may lead to severe anxiety and a tendency to avoid social situations, as the person may have difficulty with responding appropriately to social cues. They usually make sense when they speak, but can be hard to follow.

Hope it helps!
