sedimentation is the process in which suspended particle can settle down at botton of the vessel by their own weight ......and if the separation is not possible by sedimentation then filtration method is useful......here filter media is use for the particle separation.....for example plate and frame filter press, basket centrifuges , tea bag , dust mask ,
