difference between semen and sperm?

testis in our body undergoes meosis to form sperm. these sperm are inert they need nourishment and once they reached the vagina a medium for transportation and a base .
as the urine in our blood is acidic in nature and the fact that sperm cannot survive in an acidic medium makes it mandatory for a base to neutralize the acidic effect



the collection of sperm with all the secretion (which provide nourishment,medium and protection )is called the semen
