Petaloid flowers: Petaloid means when sepals resemble petals, e.g, Lily, Anemone, Hellebore flowers etc.

Sepaloid flowers: Sepaloid means when petals resemble sepals. The data for sepaloid flower is not available. However, some flower like that of Amborella, Trimenia have green petals that resemble sepals. Thus can be considered as an example sepaloid flower.

Answer:

The perianth is the part of the flower which is non-reproduction, it forms the envelope that surrounds the sexual organs. These includes calyx or sepals and the corolla or petals. Sepals and petals are collectively called as tepals. When the calyx is green it is termed as sepaloid and when it is brightly colored it is called as petaloid. Also, when the tepals are undifferentiated they resemble petal therefore, they are called as petaloid. Hence, sepaloid means sepal like appearance and petaloid is petal like appearance.
