- The offspring that is produced in this type of reproduction is identical to the parent organism.
- This type of reproduction takes place by either budding, fragmentation, binary fission, etc.

- This type of reproduction takes place in most of the multicellular organisms.
- Two parent organisms are required for this mode of reproduction.
- The offspring that is produced in this type of reproduction inherits qualities of both parents but the organism isn't really identical to the parent organisms.
- This type of reproduction takes place either by fertilization, pollination, etc.
