Answers
Answer:
Explanation:
Asexual Reproduction -
Involves reproduction through any part of the body. Male and female gametes are absent.
It is a simple process of cell division
No mixing of genetic material. Hence less variation is observed.
It is a rapid process during favourable conditions.
Sexual Reproduction-
It is a slower process.
Involves fusion of male and female gametes.
The fusion of male and female gametes forms zygote from which develops a new individual. This process is known as ‘fertilisation’.
Mixing of genetic material takes place. Hence it shows great extent of variation.
sexual reproducton:- 1) The offspring is not identical
2) The characters of offspring is from its parents and some of its own
3) in sexual reproduction fusion of male and female gamate occur
4) sexual reproduction occurs in multicelluar animals
Asexual reproduction :- 1) the offspring is identical
2) There are no owned chsracters of offspring
3) There is no fusion of male and female gamate occur . They reproduce as ' regeneration ,fragmentation and binary fission
4) Asexual reproduction occurs in unicellular animals
