 In this reproduction both are different male and female gamete present.

 Two parents participate in Sexual reproduction.

 Formation and fusion of gametes take place .

 In this reproduction mitosis or meiosis both take place.

 Parents are genetically different form off spring .Off spring also dissimilar

 Role in organic evolution.

 In this reproduction growth is slow

 Example – Human , animals  etc

Asexual Reproduction :

 In this reproduction either male or female gametes present .

 Only one parent is required.

 There is no formation and fusion of gametes.

 In this reproduction only mitosis division take place.

 Parent and off springs are genetically identically.

 In this reproduction growth rapid.

 No role in Organic evolution

 Example -  Algae , Fungi etc
