Sexual reproduction

  • Sexual reproduction involves the formation of gametes.
  • Sexual reproduction involves two parents . i.e → male and female
  • Sexual reproduction result in formation of a new offspring by fertilization of gametes produced one by male and another by female.
  • In sexual reproduction there are light variation in offspring with respect to the parents leads to the better evolution of new hybrid genes.

Asexual reproduction

  • Asexual reproduction doesn't need any gamete formation for reproduction.
  • The offspring is formed by asexual reproduction by involvement of one parent which reproduce by asexual methods of reproduction like budding , fission.
  • Asexual reproduction result in formation of offspring which is genetically similar to it's parent as it has it's one parent's genetic material only.
