shriniketan took over the work with the objective bringing back life in its completeness to the villages and help peoples to solve their own problems instead of solution being imposed on them from outside.siksha-satra was suc a school set up at shantiniketan in 1924 but shifted to shriniketan in 1927.
there is not difference between shriniketan and shantiniketan.shantiniketan also spelts shriniketan.
